Aromas to Cherish
Neals Yard Remedies Trained
In 2011 Linda decided on a career change and trained with Neal’s Yard Remedies who offer a highly regarded Diploma Course in Aromatherapy.
Linda Quigley MIFPA
The training involved an eighteen month part time course during which time she was taught massage techniques, and anatomy and physiology. The most fascinating part of the training for Linda was the introduction and appreciation of the therapeutic and aesthetic values of essential oils.
The course covered 72 oils in total and each one was an amazing and intriguing discovery. At the end of the course, prior to full qualification, she was required to undertake treatments with a minimum of 10 case study clients with whom she completed over sixty treatments. This was an enjoyable and educational transition into starting her own therapy business ‘Aromas to Cherish’.
It has been a fulfilling journey so far and she is excited to be embarking on this latest leg that involves working from home, in a room carefully conceived to create a welcoming, serene and safe environment in which clients can leave their cares at the door. Hand in hand with her ‘women-only’ home therapy business she has also started working in the therapy rooms at Neal’s Yard Remedies brand new store in Windsor one morning per week in their graduate clinic. Their brand new facilities are a delight to work in and she is able to offer clients an elegant, soothing environment for a treatment.
All treatments involve a tailored blend of oils, with an initial consultation at the beginning of each appointment to determine the best blend for the client’s individual needs.
“I am delighted to be pursuing a career that has proved such a source of pleasure for me, and I look forward to meeting each and every client and sharing the powerful combination of oils and massage with them.”
